Beautiful Baby Girl

It is hard to believe that it was almost 9 months ago that this beautiful creature entered our lives. Don and I are so in love with her and feel so blessed to be her parents

Lots Of Firsts

The last three months have been filled with lots of fun firsts. Anabelle is now able to sit on her own, chew food, feed herself and put a spoon in her mouth, stand with support, and scoot around on the floor on all fours. She is out of her infant carrier and is in a "big girl" car seat and has a hugh chair that she eats her meals in. She still has no teeth but is getting a lot more hair so mommy can finally put bows in her hair. I think that she looks like such a big girl in her high chair.

Swimming Lessons

In January, we enrolled Anabelle in a month long water babies swim class. We had tons of fun and Anabelle really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, though, we only made it to half of the classes since she ended up being sick the last two weeks in January. The important thing is that she looked awfully cute in her swimsuit!

Christmas Morning!!

Anabelle had a wonderful first Christmas with our family in Little Rock. Santa Claus took very good care of her this year, since she had been such a good girl :)

Here are some pictures of her opening her gifts on Christmas morning

The best Christmas gift mommy could have ever hoped for

Her bib says "Who needs Santa, when I have Grandma"...boy was that true!

'Twas The Night Before Xmas

As long as I can remember, we have always spent the night of Christmas Eve at my Memaw's house. It is something I look forward to all year long and this year did not disappoint

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Anabelle ready to go pick out her very first Christmas Tree:

All bundled up:

Wow, these things are cool!

Everyone but the cat

Thanksgiving 2009

This year (and every year) we spent Thanksgiving with my family in Little Rock. Don and I were very brave and DROVE to Little Rock with our 6 month old in the backseat. Surprisingly, she did very well and slept almost the entire time both ways. The drive takes about 5 hours, which is a pain. But, I actually thought that it was a lot less stressful than hauling a baby with all of her stuff (car seat, stroller, bag, bottles, etc) through the airport. We had 2 wonderful Thanksgiving meals on Thursday, and got to spend a lot of quality time with the fam. All in all, it was a nice trip.

The happy family
